Our Founder

Mindy Tulsi-Ingram arrived in Vancouver from Singapore in the early 1980s with a desire to build a meaningful future in her adopted country. She earned a double major in Business and Communications at Simon Fraser University before beginning her career in advertising sales at Naylor Communications and later as a research analyst at the Newspaper Marketing Bureau.
While gaining valuable business experience, Mindy realized she wanted to create something of her own — a business that blended entrepreneurship, creativity, and the tradition of thoughtful gift-giving.
In 1993, she founded Green & Green Gifts with Flair, a company built on the belief that what you give matters.
The Inspiration Behind Green & Green

Mindy’s inspiration began in her childhood in multicultural Singapore, where gift-giving was an important expression of respect, gratitude, and celebration.
One of her earliest memories was helping her family prepare gifts for her sister’s traditional wedding. Presentation was just as important as the gift itself, and every detail was handled with care.
At fifteen, Mindy created her first fruit gift basket after suggesting that fruit should be presented in a basket rather than a simple plastic bag. The beautifully presented basket received enthusiastic praise — and planted the seed for what would later become Green & Green.
